Complimentary Press Registration
Complimentary Press Registration is available to all qualified members of the press. We are happy to help coordinate interviews with festival founders, presenters, local entrepreneurs and other festival participants.
To qualify for a complimentary media pass for the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, the applicant must cover the industry on a regular basis by publishing articles or writing regular reports covering the food, sustainability, health & wellness, and related lifestyle industries. Private consultants who are paid by an individual company are not eligible for a media pass, and should request a pass from the sponsoring company.
PRESS CREDENTIALS must be provided at the Press Check In and consist of a business card with your name, media outlet and title.
Note: Press Credentials are reserved for editorial staff and analysts. The following types of titles will be reviewed as follows:
Examples of accepted titles: Associate Editor, Business Editor, Editor-in-Chief, Executive Editor, Features Editor, Managing Editor, Photographer, Reporter, Senior Writer, Staff Writer, Anchor, Broadcast producer, Camera operator, Host, Reporter, Sound Engineer, Program Director.
NYC Vegetarian Food Festival reserves the right to refuse media badges, without cause, during pre-registration as well as onsite media registration. Due to high demand, media badges are limited in number.
Any attendee of the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival—including exhibitors and/or qualified press—who wishes to photograph or film at the show is required to check in at the Press Check In Area onsite to sign a waiver and receive authorization upon each day of filming.
Live TV and nationally syndicated film crews must check in at the Press Check In Area to receive an authorization badge and must be escorted by a member of the festival staff in order to photograph and/or videotape at the show. Space is limited for escorts. Please schedule a time with the NYC Vegetarian Festival in advance to arrange for an escort on the show floor.
Private consultants who are paid by an individual company are not eligible for a press badge, and should request a badge from the sponsoring company. Exhibitors and their private consultants are permitted to photograph and videotape their own booth only.
Photographers and videographers are required to obtain permission before filming any exhibitor’s booth and must refrain from filming those who do not grant permission.
Qualified press who have obtained press passes and are photographing and/or filming at the show may not, under any circumstances, solicit payment from exhibitors for service. Those who are found to be soliciting payment will have their press passes immediately revoked, and may be banned from future events.
Attendee indemnifies and holds harmless NYC Vegetarian Food Festival, their respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliates, with respect to any claims from any third party claims whatsoever arising from Attendee’s media activities under this waiver.
Photographers and videographers are required to ask permission before filming and must refrain from filming those who do not grant permission. Exhibitors are permitted to photograph and videotape their own booth only. Exhibitors who do not want the press to photograph or videotape their booth should inform the NYC Vegetarian Food Festival staff onsite.
No other photography or videography is permitted. We reserve the right to refuse entrance to any photographer/videographer.
